Watershed Activities
Project Summary:
Our project was completed on the Big Pierre Jacque River. Our goals of working to reduce sediment bedload instream, re-excavating sediment trap, providing maintenance at Glenwood Pond, improving and enhancing riparian brush mats, and improving fish passage were all achieved through our funding. This was a benefit to wildlife as we improved fish passage, stabilized banks and removed sediment which enhanced the substrate. We also planted 186 native trees to provide shade and cover for wildlife.
