thank-you to all Islanders who contribute to this fund: hunters, anglers, trappers - through their annual licence conservation fees and vehicle owners who purchase Conservation Plates.
Who Are We?
The Prince Edward Island Wildlife Conservation Fund, administered by Community Foundation of PEI, provides financial support to groups working on projects that benefit wildlife and wildlife conservation in Prince Edward Island.
Who Do We Fund?
Roughly 50 projects from across Prince Edward Island receive WCF awards to conduct their projects each year. All of these projects received additional support to carry out their work from other funding agencies and through in-kind community support.
How Do I Apply?
The PEI Wildlife Conservation Fund Committee considers applications twice each year, in the spring and again in the fall, which are submitted online through an application portal. The proposed projects must benefit wildlife on Prince Edward Island.
